Bathing Baptism Priestess Ritual
/As a reset button for our body - mind - heart, sacred ritual bathing reminds us that our body is a portal through which our divinity flows when we are in a state deep relaxation. Sensual pleasure opens the gateways of inner guidance and clarity, aligning our vibration to the abundance that is our true nature. This is the space in which our magnetism arises.
A woman's erotic life force is her greatest power source so sacred bathing prepares us to unleash our creative magnetism - our powers of womb-infestation.
When you combine pleasurable feeling states with deep gratitude and visualization of how it feels to already exist as the person we want to be, in the life circumstances we are calling in, we collapse the space-time continuum and become our future selves.
In the temples of old, there were beautiful, deep baths where the priestesses would ritually bathe during the new and full moons and before ceremonies but this works just as well in a delicious shower.
Meaningful Pleasure Step 1 ~ Prepare the Outer Temple
Prepare your bathroom as if it is a tantric temple. You can be as elaborate or simple as you’d like. Perhaps try epsom salt, essential oils, delicious, calming tea, chocolate, music without words, maybe flowers from your garden.
Meaningful Pleasure Step 2 ~ Release + Surrender
Let yourself sink into pleasure as tension drips from your cells. Be present to arising emotions, acknowledge and honor them, breathe and let them pass. This is a safe space to feel all the feels but place a boundary around reoccurring thoughts and old story patterns by choosing to return, again and again, to your breathe and the actual sensation of what it feels like to be inside of your skin in this moment. If you notice you’re feeling particularly challenged to release recurring thoughts, you might try gentle music or a guided meditation for body awareness.
As you bathe or shower, imagine any tricky thoughts, patterns or heavy energy still hanging on after our ritual being released into the waters as they wash you clean. As the water runs down the drain imagine any heaviness you were carrying is going with it and offer gratitude to the water for this gift.
Intend it to be so ~ through this baptism, you are reborn. As you intend, and so it is.
Meaningful Pleasure Step 3 ~ Self Massage with Affirmations
Afterward, surrender to the pleasure of massaging your body with oil, honoring each part individually by using the body prayer below or stroking any affirmation into your skin that feel right.
Meaningful Pleasure Step 4 ~ OPTIONAL SELF PLEASURE
Only if it feels safe and true, explore the womb-ifestation hot spots of your body temple. Every cell is an erotic center but you may feel called to explore subtle sensation in your breasts, vulva, clit. Close your eyes and imagine you are feeling all these sensations for the first time or watch yourself in the mirror as if gazing upon yourself for the first time. The only guidance here is - there is no where to go so don't get focused on orgasm - let that go but allow moments of more elevated pleasure to remind you to smile and feel all the abundance of your life and the pleasure of being the person you are becoming.
Meaningful Pleasure Step 5 ~ Gratitude Offering + Prayer
Save a cup of your bath water and pour it as an offering to the land you live upon, offering gratitude to Gaia, the Great Earth Mother, for supporting your healing and your intentions to uplevel in 2024. Say a simple prayer: may your pleasure, your purpose and the beautiful life you are womb-ifesting be in service to the highest and deepest good for all beings.
Goddess Body Prayer
Touch + massage each body part with slow reverence as if you are honoring a Goddess, which, of course, you are.
Feel free to add additional body parts and creatively improvise your own blessings. Sensually and lovingly linger anywhere that's craving more attention.
